Mainly fair weather forecast; few showers elsewhere

The Department of Meteorology forecasts that a few showers will occur in the Eastern province today (21).

Showers or thundershowers may occur at several places in the Central and Uva provinces and in the Hambantota district in the evening or night.

Mainly fair weather will prevail elsewhere.

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in Galle and Matara districts in the morning.
