Price controls on cement, LP gas, milk powder & wheat flour to be lifted

 

The Government has decided to remove price controls imposed on four products.

According to State Minister Lassana Alagiyawanna price controls imposed on Cement, LP Gas, Milk Powder & Wheat Flour will be removed.

The above decision has been taken during the special meeting held between the President and Cabinet Ministers today.

State Minister Alagiyawanna said that President has instructed not to allow room for unnecessarily high price hikes of the products
