Pfizer vaccine first for GCE A/L students

  

The Minister of Education Dinesh Gunawardena said in Parliament today (21) that it has been decided to give the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine first to the students who are sitting for the GCE Advanced Level Examination this year.

He added that the Ministry of Education has already commenced discussions with the relevant officials regarding the vaccination of school children.

Responding to a question raised by Colombo District MP Patali Champika Ranawaka, the Minister said the President had recently instructed to vaccinate school children against Covid.
