Department of Motor Traffic offices to reopen for services

 

The Narahenpita and Werahera offices of the Department of Motor Vehicles, which were temporarily closed due to the rapid spread of Covid-19 epidemic, will be reopened to the public from today onwards  (01), the Department of Motor Traffic said yesterday in an announcement issued by the Commissioner General of Motor Traffic.

Department of Motor Traffic said the Narahenpita and Werahera Offices will be recommenced for the public from 01 October, 2021, under the strictest control and following health care practices.

An appointment must be taken through Tele. No. 0212677877 to get the required services.

The activities of the District Offices of the Department of Motor Traffic are carried out under the guidance of the District Secretary of the relevant District.
