Sound permits to be issued for musical events

Police stations have been instructed to issue sound permits for all outdoor musical events that should be held in accordance with health guidelines.

The directive issued by the Inspector-General of Police says such events are permitted to be held until 10.00 pm from Mondays to Thursdays and until 1.00 am on Fridays and Saturdays.

On Sundays, outdoor musical events are allowed to go on until 12.30 am.
