Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are officially married

At long last Bollywood stars Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal finally confirmed that they're in a relationship — by announcing they got married.

The couple posted identical announcements on Instagram along with pictures of their big day.

The wedding was held at the Six Senses Fort hotel in Jaipur and shrouded in secrecy.

The official announcement comes after weeks of intense coverage — practically stalking — by the Indian media.

After weeks of secrecy and NDAs, they were finally able to announce the news on their own terms.

The couple both wore outfits by Indian designer Sabyasachi.

The brand posted the news — which many had speculated after seeing blurry pictures of the couple on the roof of the hotel — on Instagram.

Kaif's outfit was a red bridal lehenga in handwoven matka silk with fine tilla work and meticulously embroidered revival zardozi borders in velvet.

Her veil paid tribute to Kaushal's Punjabi roots and was made with custom In homage to the groom’s Punjabi roots, her dupatta had handmade kiran in hand-beaten silver electroplated in gold.

Her jewellery was also by Sabyasachi and, according to the brand, was "bespoke bridal jewellery of uncut diamonds in 22k gold detailed with hand strung pearls".

Kaushal was wearing an ivory silk sherwani with intricate marori embroidery and iconic Sabyasachi handcrafted gold plated Bengal Tiger buttons, with a silk kurta and churidar.

His shawl was a tussar georgette with a zari marori embroidered pallu and borders.

The gold banarasi silk tissue safa is paired with a handcrafted kilangi and statement necklace studded in emeralds, brilliant cut and rose cut diamonds, quartz and tourmalines in 18k gold, also from Sabyasachi.

Kaif and Kaushal have taken a cue from Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh who also both wore Sabyasachi on their wedding in 2018.

The Indian media had reported earlier that Kaif and Kaushal had sold the broadcast rights for their wedding to Amazon for INR 800 million but that hasn't been confirmed by the bride and groom or their representatives.
