Weather Today (15) Fairly heavy showers above 75mm expected in several provinces

  

According to the weather forecast notice issued by the Department of Meteorology for 15 November 2021 showers will occur at times in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-western and Northern provinces and in Galle and Matara districts. A few showers are likely in Anuradhapura district.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places elsewhere particularly during the afternoon or night.

Fairly heavy showers above 75mm can be expected at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North-western provinces and in Galle and Matara districts.

Strong winds up to 40-50 kmph can be expected over the island.
