Permission for limited spectators at LPL 2021

The Health Ministry has given permission to the Lanka Premier League 2021 to allow limited spectators in matches of its second edition starting in 12 days.

Minister Namal Rajapaksa made the announcement in a tweet and said approval was granted after considering the strict guidelines that have been put in place by the Sports Ministry.

The teams from Galle and Jaffna meet in the first round curtain-raiser at R. Premadasa Stadium on 05 December.

Hambantota will host the final round matches, with the final taking place on 23 December.
