Weather today (07) reducing the prevailing rainy condition over most provinces

 

According to the weather forecast notice issued by the Department of Meteorology for 07 October 2021

a few showers will occur in Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in Galle and Matara districts.

Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in Eastern, Uva and Northern provinces during the afternoon or night.

Department of Meteorology requests general public is kindly to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
