Traffic policeman interdicted over brutal attack two youths

                           

Minister, Public Security Sarath Weerasekara says the Eravur police station’s traffic policeman interdicted over the incident.

Sri Lanka Police to take legal action against the traffic policeman who attacked two youths in Eravur areas.

Following the emergence of video footage which depicts officers attached to Eravur Police brutally attacking civilians, The Morning learns that an inquiry on the same has been initiated

A video which shows a traffic Policeman was assaulting two youths travelling on a motorcycle circulates via social media. The attack was said to have happened in Eravur.

Eravur police says an inquiry is being conducting over the incident.

Cabinet Minister of Public Security Sarath Weerasekara has reportedly told Parliamentarian Rasamanickam R.Shanakiyan that legal action will be taken against the traffic policeman.
