Dharmasena and Madugalle named match officials of T20 World Cup

 

Sri Lankans Kumar Dharmasena and Ranjan Madugalle have been named among the 20 member contingent of match officials announced for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 to be worked off in Oman and the United Arab Emirates from October 17.

The ICC has announced the appointment of 16 umpires and four match referees for the Round 1 and Super 12 stages of the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021.

Sri Lankan official Ranjan Madugalle has been named a Match Referee along with David Boon, Jeff Crowe, and Javagal Srinath.

While Kumar Dharmasena is among the 16 umpires.

Ruchira Palliyaguruge, who represented Sri Lanka in the judging of the 2019 World Cup, has not been selected to officiate this year’s tournament
