New global corona virus cases and deaths appear to be leveling off

 

According to the World Health Organization, new global corona virus cases and deaths appear to be leveling off after increasing for nearly two months.WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated at a press conference on Wednesday. He also exposed that "After increasing for nearly two months, the global number of Covid cases and deaths was stable last week” further "But it is stable at a very high level: more than 4.5 million cases an d 68,000 deaths."

The situation also varies depending on the  regions. For example, 8 new cases and 10 percent of new deaths reported in America and 20 percent new cases and 11  percent new deaths reported increases in Western pacific. respectively, according to WHO.

"As long as this virus is circulating anywhere, it's a threat everywhere," Tedros said.
