Theekshana opposed after CSK picks him

Sri Lankan spinner Maheesh Theekshana has been the target of a social media campaign in India after he was picked by Chennai Super Kings at the IPL 2002 auction.

Persons said to be pro-LTTE demand the removal of Theekshana, a member of the Sri Lanka Army, from the CSK or a boycott of the franchise.

Theeksana was signed by the defending champions for INR 70 lakhs.
