Global digital platform launched
A global digital platform (GDP) for Sri Lankan expatriates and emigrants was launched yesterday (21) at the BMICH in Colombo by prime minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.
The National Science Foundation created the GDP with technical support from the SLASSCOM to help mobilise expatriates for national development.
Already, more than 950 Sri Lankans from around the world are connected to this network.
The GDP will facilitate effective harnessing, mobilising, and channeling intellectual assets at home and abroad for development.
