U-19 Asia Cup: SL, India qualify for final
Sri Lanka and India have won their respective semi-finals to qualify for tomorrow’s final of the under-19 Asia Cup.
Sri Lanka U-19 beat Pakistan U-19 by 22 runs in Dubai, after opting to bat first and making 147 in 40 overs.
Tail-ender Matheesha Pathirana was the top-scorer for the Sri Lankans, making 32 off 33 deliveries, inclusive of five fours.
Zeeshan Zameer was the pick of the bowlers for Pakistan, taking four for 32.
Replaying, Pakistan managed only 125 all out.
In the other semi-final, India made 243 for eight against Bangladesh.
They then bowled out the Bangladeshis for 140 to win by 103 runs.
