Train services to regain normalcy

Train services are expected to regain normalcy today (29) after railway station masters called off their strike action following talks with state minister of transport Dilum Amunugama.

President of their union Sumedha Somarathna said they were given favourable responses to 10 of their demands.

Stationmasters will resume issuing train tickets and accept parcels for transportation
