17 school children hospitalised following wasp attack

A group of 17 students of a school in Hatton were admitted to the Dickoya Base Hospital this morning (15) following a wasp attack.

The wasps had attacked the children after an eagle had attempted to break their nest located on a tree near the school, Police reported.

The school was later closed for the day, and the students were advised to go home as a safety precaution.
