Two Sri Lankan umpires for T20 WC Final

Sri Lanka's  Kumar Dharmasena, who stood as an umpire during the 2019 World Cup final at Lord’s, has been chosen to be the fourth umpire (reserve umpire) for the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 Final. Another Sri Lankan Ranjan Madugalle, who has experience of being a match referee in 124 T20Is from a total of 692 international matches, has been chosen to be the match referee for this game.

South African Marais Erasmus and England's Richard Kettleborough will be the on-field umpires.

The T20 World Cup final between New Zealand and Australia is scheduled to get underway in Dubai at 7.30 p.m. tomorrow (14).
