‘One country, one law’ PTF starts work from Jaffna

A presidential task force has begun accepting views and proposals from the public in order to implement the government’s ‘one country, one law’ concept.

The PTF was in Jaffna today (21), where lawyers, professionals, religious leaders, students and civil society members explained the various aspects of non-implementation of the law equally, the president’s media unit said.

Chairman of the PTF Ven. Galagodaatte Gnanasara Thera expressed commitment to make the concept a reality.

It will continue with the deliberations in Mullaitivu and Kilinochchi tomorrow.
