No intention in cricket admin., play in LPL, Rohitha reiterates

Rohitha Rajapaksa, the youngest son of prime minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, reiterates that he has no intention of getting involved in cricket administration or playing in the Lanka Premier League tournament.

Responding to certain media reports, he took to twitter saying, “I have no intention to be involved with the @OfficialSLC administration or play for the @LPLT20.”

“It is very irresponsible conduct by media platforms to publish such false information without confirmation from the individual concerned.”

Nevertheless, he was seen in a practice match of the LPL franchise Dambulla Giants, wearing a team jersey bearing no. 07 and tagged CHICHI.

Also, Rohitha is a regular in the Kalutara Town Club team in the Major Clubs Limited Overs Tournament.

He played only one game for the club, getting out leg before first ball against Sri Lanka Navy SC.
