FIFA President arrives in SL!

President of the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA), Mr. Gianni Infantino arrived in the island this morning (19) for a one day official visit.

Several other high ranking officials of FIFA also accompanied him on this tour.

Officials from the Sri Lankan Foreign Ministry, the Sri Lanka Football Federation and the Ministry of Sports had been at the airport to welcome them.

The FIFA President, Gianni Infantino is scheduled to be the Guest of Honour in the final of the four-nation tournament for the Mahinda Rakapaksa Trophy scheduled to take place today (19) at the Race Course grounds in Colombo.
