Bhanuka, Wanindu shine in Abu Dhabi T10 in losing causes

Sri Lankans Bhanuka Rajapaksa and Wanindu Hasaranga starred for their respective teams in losing causes in the Abu Dhabi T10 tournament yesterday (21).

Rajapaksa smashed an unbeaten 64 off just 31 deliveries to help Chennai Braves to 124 for two.

He hit four sixes and six fours.

However, the opponents, Delhi Bulls made 128 for five in 9.4 overs to win the game.

For Deccan Gladiators, Hasaranga shone with both bat and ball, but the team lost to Team Abu Dhabi by four wickets.

The all-rounder hit an 18-ball 30, with one six and four fours, in a total of 97 for nine.

He then bowled an excellent spell to claim four wickets for 12.

Nevertheless, Gladiators reached 99 for six to win in the last delivery.
