Yohani’s new single to be mixed by Micheal Jackson’s sound engineer

Sri Lankan songstress Yohani is reaching new heights by releasing an English single with elements of Sinhalese rap, which will be mixed and mastered by the very same engineer who worked with King of Pop Michael Jackson.

The single is due to be released by mid-November and is a collaboration with an international record label. This will be the first time a Sri Lankan artist is signed to an international label of that caliber on a single deal, The media was told by Yohani’s media representative.

It was also revealed that Yohani was signed to this deal by a world renowned artiste and repertoire.

Yohani reached global fame and took the name of Sri Lanka to the international stage with her rendition of the song “Manike mage hithe”, initially grabbing the attention of Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachan.
