Yohani suffers face bruises in on-stage accident

Sri Lankan singing sensation Yohani Aloka de Silva suffered bruises to her face during an on-stage accident during her last performance in India.

Just minutes ago, she took to twitter, saying “Show must go on! Had an accident on stage during the last performance. As I was so engrossed in the moment and performing for you I knocked my face on the head of a guitar. I didn’t realize that I bruised my face in the process as well. This is the aftermath.”

A picture showed her bruised below her right eye.

Having won hearts all the way from Sri Lanka to India, Yohani, performed in New Delhi alongside her nine-member band in front of a packed audience at the Supermoon #NowTrending concert on October 30 in Gurugram.

She was due to next head to Hyderabad for another concert at Heart Cup Coffee, Gachibowli, Hyderabad. 

Yohani rose to global fame with her cover version of ‘Manike Mage Hithe.’
