Weather Today (22) Showers expected in several provinces after 1.00pm

 

According to the weather forecast notice issued by the Department of Meteorology for 22 October 2021

showers or thundershowers will occur over most parts of the island after 1.00 p.m.

Fairly heavy showers above 75 mm can be expected at some places in Central, Sabaragamuwa, Uva and North-Central provinces.

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Central, Sabaragamuwa, Western and North-Central provinces during the morning.

Department of Meteorology  requests general public to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
