Weather Today (04) Cloudy skies prevails most parts of the country

 

According to the weather forecast notice issued by the Department of Meteorology for 04,   October 2021, cloudy skies will prevailed over the most parts of the country.

Showers or thundershowers will occur in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-Western and Northern provinces and in Galle and Matara districts. Fairly heavy showers above 75 mm can be expected at some places.

Showers or thunder showers will occur at several places elsewhere.

Department of Meteorology requests general public to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
