concession.

members, Co-Cabinet Spokesman Dr. Ramesh Pathirana stated that he was unaware
of any such meetings and that the Government worked hard to restore the
concession. He stated that the European Union had been provided all the
information that could assist Sri Lanka in resuming GSP+.

which visited Sri Lanka on the importance of repealing the Prevention of
Terrorism Act (PTA), which provides broad powers to the Police to arrest
individuals without a warrant.
The TNA, said in a statement that during their discussion
with the EU delegation they addressed the prospect of amending the Constitution
to address political issues of Tamils. The EU delegation of five arrived in Sri
