MS Dhoni’s side bounce back from last year’s horror season to win fourth IPL title

Chennai Super Kings opener Faf du Plessis was "grateful" for the opportunity to play for the franchise in their title-winning campaign at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 on Friday.

CSK beat Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2021 final by 27 runs to lift their fourth IPL title under MS Dhoni. The former South African captain top-scored in the summit clash with 86 off 59 balls to script Chennai's third successive win over KKR, and undoubtedly the most important one, this season.
