According to the weather forecast  issued by the Department of Meteorology for 20 September 2021, showers or thundershowers will occur at times in Sabaragamuwa and Western Provinces, and in Galle and Matara Districts.

 Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places elsewhere after 2.00 p.m. Fairly heavy showers about 75 mm can be expected at some places in Northern, North-Central, Eastern and Uva provinces.

Department of Meteorology requests public to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
