Aussie gold medallist Madi Wilson hospitalised with Covid-19

Aussie swimmer Madi Wilson has revealed she's been hospitalized with Covid-19 despite being double vaccinated.

The 27-year-old is currently in Naples, Italy for the International Swimming League (ISL) and was admitted to hospital on Sunday.

The Olympic gold medalist has been forced to withdraw from the ISL and will spend the next few days in hospital.

Wilson said she had followed all relevant Covid-19 protocols put in place for the ISL and believes her busy schedule may have contributed to the positive diagnosis.
